What sets ThriveCare Assisted Living apart from others are the owners. Casey and Erika Leno both come from health care backgrounds that uniquely combine to create a difference and understanding in how care is provided. Their mission is to serve our elders, providing a home that encourages independence, delivers purposeful care and a home with all the comforts and care that you need.
Casey began his career as a Hospital Chaplain and then soon moved into Director roles in Hospital Administration leading out in Patient Experience through Mission, Ministry and Community Health Integration. Casey focused on creating a whole person care experience for patients, staff and the community. He strongly believes that care for the mind, body and spirit is essential to living a full and happy life. Casey has a strong passion to utilize his experience in healthcare to create an environment where our seniors truly Thrive. Casey’s goal is for every resident to feel and say “It’s good to be Home,” as they walk through the front door.
Erika’s passion to care for seniors developed over the years as she worked in the neuro and cardiac ICU settings for over 10 years. Erika’s heart ached as she saw the health of the elderly decline rapidly in the hospital whole longing to go back home. If discharged, Erika saw families overwhelmed with the decision to move their parent or loved one to a cookie cutter facility that boasted of numerous amenities, but just didn’t feel like home. Erika’s goal is to provide a home, not a facility.
